THE REFERENDUM BY THE WATER STOPS

The referendum comes at a time in Colombia in which 7 million impoverished people are denied the right to life by denying them access to water, 84% of municipalities do not have potable water, the privatization process have almost 15 years of insiders and the coverage has fallen by 4 percentage points according to the National Survey of Demography and Health 2005. In addition to the above, the devastation of ecosystems essential to the water cycle, which is made manifest, for example, the pollution of major rivers of the country and the destruction of the forests and moors, strongly affects the communities and your access to water.
